About Us

Firmly Grounded in the Recognition of African Origins While Working Hard To Represent African, Eastern, and Western Healthcare Protocols To The Benefit of Africans.

African Scholars Health Organization (ASHO) is a Non-Governmental organization whose birth was facilitated by the International Institute for African Scholars, a research-based entity fielding the cream of the crop among educated Africans in health and medical bureaucracy and technocracy. ASHO is the single largest concentration of African medical doctors, healthcare specialists and professionals, pharmacists, and other non-classified healthcare providers advocating on all health issues in Africa. The nonprofit positioning makes volunteering possible for all Africans, whether they are in healthcare of other fields.

African Scholars Health Organization (ASHO)

IIAS welcomes physicians, epidemiologists, public health practitioners, optometrists/opticians, oncologists, and other specialists whose academic, professional, and social change contributions can help Africa to establish healthcare systems that can stand on their own and be independent of external factors. African Scholars Health Organization uses volunteering to provide solutions to the needing populations. In situations where volunteers are unavailable, ASHO facilitates a connection between the needing communities and appropriate specialists to deliver quality Afrocentric healthcare that utilizes Western, Eastern, and African solutions. The IIAS Director of Membership is continuously inviting individuals with skills, training, knowledge, and preparation to become Fellows of IIAS to establish their internal clout with IIAS and provide healthcare help to Africa on the IIAS platform. Welcome to IIAS. Welcome to ASHO.

Delivering Apprporiate Policy Pan-Africa

Dr. Anastasia Ashi, Dean of Health Sciences at Emmanuel University, is the President of the African Scholars Health Organization, and responsible for deploying Country Representatives. The 55 countries on the African continent continue to indicate a shared need – healthcare programs that address the challenges of each country’s peoples. ASHO organized a group of experts in the diverse Healthcare fields. This Program is responsible for responding to each country’s healthcare policy needs when the countries come calling. African Scholars Health Organization does not provide a static or straight-jacket formula. ASHO recognizes that each country’s needs are unique and often subject to the country’s cultural antecedents. Therefore, Dr. Anastasia Ashi and members of her ASHO team are able to tailor policy and strategy to the specific needs of the different African countries or entities within it. NGOs are in the center of rural penetration, and ASHO always counts on them.
